"When I approach any subject I try to leave my preconceptions behind and simply observe and render as best as I can, letting light reveal the underlying beauty and truth."
 ARTIST'S STATEMENT

I have explored many styles and movements in art from abstraction to realism. Over the years in my desire to learn and understand the meaning of art, the study of light has become my fascination, frustration and joy. My style has evolved through my observation and realization of the subtle relationships between light and color, which have come together in a style that I call impressionistic realism. When I approach any subject I try to leave my preconceptions behind and simply observe and render as best as I can, letting light reveal the underlying beauty and truth.

“To love beauty is to see light”
